This project involved the construction of a new substation to power a £50 million automated body construction facility. Clonestrand coordinated the civil, structural, and electrical workstreams, delivering new high-voltage and low-voltage infrastructure in a live site.
Scope of Work:
- Three 1MW HV transformers powered from the existing substation.
- Multi-level substation structure with LV switchgear on the upper floor.
- LV feed integrated with new production facility via cable bridge.
- Work delivered in front-of-house and active manufacturing zones.
