Clonestrand was appointed as the integrated project management team for a design and build contract to retrofit a room for the installation of a Siemens CAT scan (CT) machine. This CT scanner was positioned adjacent to the emergency department to provide critical diagnostic services. The project required a highly coordinated approach to integrate all medical gases, electrical, and mechanical systems within a live hospital environment while maintaining full operational capability of the 24-hour emergency department.
Scope of Work:
- Develop the initial design tailored for Siemens CT machine requirements.
- Deliver the construction element of the retrofit project.
- Integrate medical gases, electrical, and mechanical systems seamlessly with existing hospital infrastructure.
- Ensure strict adherence to healthcare compliance, safety, and operational protocols.
