CloneStrand provided project management services for the construction of a fully automated painted body storage facility, integrated into a live automotive manufacturing site. This bespoke structure enables seamless storage and retrieval of painted body shells, feeding directly into the main production line to optimise just-in-time delivery.
Scope of Work:
- Construction of a 1.2m deep reinforced concrete base slab (2,000m²).
- Structural steel frame and insulated panel cladding system.
- Delivered within a live site bordered by existing ASRS, production, and alive 11kV substation.
- Full coordination of client’s supply chain and regulatory compliance.
